FixMyArea is a community-driven civic reporting platform that allows citizens to report local issues such as potholes, garbage, water leaks, streetlight problems, drainage blockages, and other public space concerns.

Our goal is to help communities communicate civic problems and track their resolution. FixMyArea does not guarantee that reported issues will be resolved by any government authority or municipality.

By submitting a complaint or using this platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in your complaint
• Only report genuine civic issues that affect the community
• Not submit duplicate, spam, or fake complaints
• Not impersonate another person in the name field
• Ensure uploaded photos and videos are relevant to the complaint
• Post respectful and relevant comments on complaints
• Not use the platform for personal disputes or targeting individuals

The following types of content are strictly prohibited on FixMyArea:

• False, misleading, or fabricated complaints
• Offensive, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory language
• Adult, explicit, or inappropriate images/videos
• Content that violates the privacy of individuals
• Political propaganda or promotional content
• Spam, repetitive, or irrelevant submissions
• Content that violates any applicable law

By uploading photos and videos to FixMyArea, you confirm that:

• You have the right to share the uploaded media
• The media does not violate anyone's privacy or copyright
• The content is directly relevant to the reported civic issue
• You grant FixMyArea the right to display the media publicly on the platform

All complaints submitted on FixMyArea are displayed publicly on the platform including the complaints feed, the live map, and individual complaint pages.

This is intentional — public visibility helps create community awareness and encourages civic authorities to take action.

By submitting a complaint, you consent to your name, area, description, photos, and videos being publicly visible on fixmyarea.online.

FixMyArea is a community reporting tool only. We do not:

• Guarantee resolution of any reported issue
• Have any official authority over government or municipal bodies
• Take responsibility for actions or inactions by civic authorities
• Guarantee the accuracy of information submitted by users

FixMyArea shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from use of the platform or reliance on content posted by users.

FixMyArea administrators reserve the right to:

• Remove any complaint that violates these terms
• Update the status of any complaint
• Delete spam, false, or abusive content without notice
• Modify platform features at any time

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.

Your continued use of FixMyArea after any changes means you accept the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
