Please be aware that all complaints submitted on FixMyArea are publicly visible. This includes:

• Your name as entered in the form
• The area and problem description
• Uploaded photos and videos
• Upvotes, downvotes, and comments

FixMyArea uses the following third-party services which may process some data:

• OpenStreetMap & Leaflet.js — for displaying the live complaints map
• Nominatim API — for converting area names to map coordinates (geocoding)
• Google Fonts — for typography (Poppins font)
• Hostinger — for web hosting and database storage

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with advertisers or marketing companies.

Your data is stored securely on our Hostinger server in a MySQL database. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including:

• Password-protected database access
• Admin panel protected with login credentials
• Uploaded files stored in a secure server directory

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

If you wish to have your complaint or personal information removed from FixMyArea, you may:

• Request deletion of your specific complaint

We will process deletion requests within 7 working days.
